Yet another solarization prob, Samsung LE32A336 Can't Post

My TV is a 2008 model. Here's its picture.

It's like this all the time. I did a reset to factory defaults. Nothing changed.

From reading other threads it seems the problem could be any number of boards or connectors.

And googling around I also found a guy who fixed a different model of Samsung LCD (the LN32A450) with tape and felt! http://jkturner.net/samsung/index.html

Plus I've read suggestions that the wrong values may have been inputted in repair or test mode. But wouldn't my factory reset have dealt with that? Maybe it wouldn't, because I was in 'customer' mode, not 'repair/test'.

So where do I start? Do I just attack, screwdriver in hand?

HERE we go again !!!
There's IMAX , then there's the JUMBOTRON at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium !!!
This is a JUMBOTRON sized pix..Unsure..

NONE of the techs here that I know of have an IIIIIMMMMMMMAAAAAAAAXXXXXXXX Monitor !!!.
PLEASE go back & RE-SIZE your pix..
It IS TOOOOO WIDE for this thread...

When you post pix , PLEASE use the "Preview Post" feature to see how HUGE they will look in the thread...
IF they are TOOOO big (As it IS here) , you can easily go back to photobucket or ?? & adjust it accordingly..
IF you don't , I suspect other techs will ignore this thread...

Thanks.......

Have a nice day & week...Smile...

It looks just the right size to me. But I halved it at Photobucket. How does it look to you now?

By the way, "oh, contrare" should be spelled "au contraire". It's French. It means "on the contrary".

Nick H;...

I stand corrected !!!

It has to do with the WAY you posted the pix...

[URL=http://s869.photobucket.com/user/eurostar2/media/P1060388.jpg.html]

IF you post the pix WITHOUT the link , you get this;=>...

See how much better that is ???..

Try to go back & just post the pix OR delete the link & everyone will be happy...
When you do that , I'll edit my IMAX post ....
The thread width should decrease dramatically...

BTW:..
Thanks for the spelling lesson...Wink...
