Sharp 42" LCD HDTV (LC-42D62U) Can't Post

Just purchased this product - and I am having an electrician come in a raise an existing outlet from the base of the wall to the middle of the wall so that i can hang the tv without visible wires. anyway, long story short is that the electrician advised me to put the TV on its own circuit. while i understand that it is better/optimal to have the tv on its own circuit, is it really necessary? please advise. any help on this would be appreciated.

I don't think you need that, what you really need is the best surge protector that money can buy.,unless the power at the existing outlet doesn't supply a fully steady needed voltage.
