cant hook up my pc to my tv Can't Post

I just got a 23 inch samsung lcd hdtv yesterday, model #LNS22341W.

i can get output from my xbox360 just fine, but when i plug my pc into the tv, the tv acts as if there is no pc connected. I cant even select PC source through the tv.

Could this problem occur because i have a dvi to vga adapter on my pc then i run a vga cord to my tv from my pc?

or it could be my graphics card in my computer.

The no. of pins on the DVI converting to VGA doesn't match. check if it's DVI-I or DVI-D.

it is dvi-i dual link on both the graphics card and the dvi to vga adapter.

I should say, Use one cable converter only. get a DVI-A male to VGA male adaptor CABLE. Don't use a separate DVI-A to VGA male/Female converter to run another VGA cable. Your loosing more signal and It's confusing that way!
