sabio tv with dish sat receiver 322

I have a sabio 40 inch lcd tv and I am trying to use the remote that came with the tv to control my dish 322 receiver. It seems this tv is a dish friendly tv but the directions are very sparse reguarding setting up the remote to control sat box. Any ideas?
