hi can anyone help please i have atoshiba lcdrear projection tv model 44g9uxe picture is very dark contrast and brightness all the way up but still dark can any one help not sure if need new bulb thanks bob

no have no ideas thats why im on here must be an internal fault on board the picture is slightly brighter but the bightness and contrast are way up high im at a loss now tv is about 16 months old

tried all picture settings all now om max brightness and contrast cleaned all the glass inside and reflectors can not see any obvious probs inside tv as i say bought a brand new bulb the other one had quite a few hours on it dont know if this is maybe a clue but the teletext is page seems to me to be small

I have exact same tv....same problem with picture darkness...i had replaced bulb and serviced tv and had TWO independent tv technician's try and fix it!!!! End of the day....the tv is stuffed! If you find a way to fix it PLEASE let me know...ive since brought another but I still have my old one.
