15pin RGB Can't Post

I am trying to find the right plasma TV/monitor for my home, and need a little advice. I am leaning toward the Sony PFM-42B2, which is a 1024/1024 42" plasma. The only problem is it only contains a composite video input, and 2 x 15pin RGB (xga) inputs. I plan on connecting a DVD and DSS to the monitor (and maybe a PC). I see that some companies offer component to RGB cables (I think I would have to use these to connect my HD DSS receiver to the plasma). If I buy this monitor and use these type cables, will the picture quality suffer? Or is it possibe/appropirate to run the DSS receiver using RGB to RGB? I need advice.

Thanks
