3D TV / Bluray Compatibility Issue	Can't Post

Need some help.

I have a 3D Panasonic Viera and a 3D Sony Bluray player. Both devices work fine.

However, I bought my first 3D bluray disc today and can not get it to work. I can select the disc from the bluray menu, but then immediately get stuck on a blue screen explaining that to play the disc I need a compatible 3D tv or 3D bluray player.

Since I have both, I am wondering if there is a general incompatibility between the Panasonic and the Sony or if I am missing a step to get them to work properly,

I'm an avid electronics consumer and I've done a lot of research and work in the home electronics field. I've never seen a case where any type of 3D blu ray player is not compatible with a 3D TV. The only restrictions are the glasses. The quickest and easiest solution would be to hear the ones you already tried. Make sure you have an HDMI that is at least v1.3 and make sure that the firmware on your blu ray player is up to date. I hope this helps.
