Akai 42" - Anybody know anything about it?

I saw a 42" Akai plasma at Circuit City over the weekend. $3200 bucks. Looked nicer than a lot of the plasmas, but I guess it's hard to judge based on in-store TV settings. I can't seem to find any reviews on this thing anywhere. The price is attractive and what I saw seemed pretty impressive, but I'd like to know more about it. I'm sure I don't want to go over 42" for size and cost reasons. I don't want a POS, but I can't exactly afford a $6,000 TV either.
