Just was wondering if it was normal for the black bars on widescreen dvd's to lighten and darken depending on the lightness/darkness of the scene. I was watching the Happy Feet DVD recently and whenever there was a dark scene, the black bars would get lighter, and when the scene got brighter, the bars got darker. Ever heard of this?

Just concentrate on the movies, not on the black bars. if this happens may have caused or programmed from the movie itself. They should make all movies that way.
