Blue Sparkles on Screen Can't Post

I have a 50inch LG, and blue sparkles appear randomly on the screen, when it is cold. They mostly go away when warmed up (didn't show in the summer at all). Anyone know what causes this? The sparkles show up in dark areas, and more near the top of the screen.
It's in warranty, but I'd like to understand the problem.

It's probably the digital logic board.

There was just a note on the avsforum that said that this was, at least in one LG case, a voltage adjustment problem. And the repairman said it was common. It was said that he just adjusted some power supplies in the set.
The LG service manual calls for the adjustment of the Va and Vs voltages, as part of a setup. That they should be set to a value that is written on the back of the plasma panel.
The manual doesn't mention what happens if the voltages are wrong???
I'd like to get more confirmation of this if possible.
Thanks, Jim

sparklies are usually caused by wrong voltages to the pdp panel.check the label on the back of the screen,it will tell you what the voltages should be and adjust if necessary with the controls on the supply pcb.

This is a common problem with that lg panel. I'm a tech with Rent-A-Center and we do 600+ repair's a week and saw this problem before. If it's warranty get it looked at soon. The voltages marked on the panel must be on the money coming out of the power supply. Good luck.
