Do I have dead pixels on my plasma??? Can't Post

I was watching a TV show this evening when I noticed what I thought was a dead pixel. It's 3x3 in size so I guess that would be 9 pixels. The pixel would be almost an aqua in color and would happen when the background was red or blonde.
However, when I watched another channel and red appeared in the location where the pixels in question were I did not see any inconsitencies.
I then download a program called "dead pixel locator" and connected my computer to the tv. I ran the program using all the primary colors (white, black, red, green, blue, yellow, cyan, and magenta) and I could not see any inconsistencies in the location where I first saw those 9 "out of color" spots.
So can you tell me if I have dead pixels or not? Or could it have been the television program broadcast. Thanks.

It would help if you posted the brand and model number. It's quite possible it was the program you were watching if this hasn't occurred again.

Sure thing. The brand and model is an LG 42PC3D HDTV. I'm wondering how it could've been the program? It was a high-definition broadcast in pure 16x9 format. Therefore I didn't have to stretch the screen.
And everytime the screen showed red or a light brown there would be a 3x3 piece of the screen that would be almost whitish in the same location.
However, if I stretched the screen or zoomed in then the 3x3 piece would disappear. But I'm not sure if it's disappearing because there is now a different color in that position or if the 3x3 moved across the screen as well.

If it were dead pixels the area in question would remain in the same condition regardless of resizing. It's possible you may have a problem with the logic board or possibly the Y sustain board or one of it's panel driver boards. I'd really have to see the problem to expand further.
