Headphones to LG Plasma	Can't Post

Hi ...I'm new to this forum.
I have an LG 42" plasma Model 42PX4DV which has no Headphone jack. I'm told that because it's digital, LG don't provide a jack. I can connect to the two Audio output terminals at the rear of the set. OK on analogue but not in Digital mode. This is a stand-alone TV ...not coonected to DVD / VCR.
Any suggestions please.
I could connect to DVD recorder if neccessary.

Do so, and connect other ends of cables to the AUX input jacks on a stereo receiver and use its headphone jack.
