Help - Vision PM-4230 problem

Hi all. I have a vision PM-4230 42" plasma that is a no worker. When I turn it on the power button goes from green to red. I press the button it goes on to green followed by a high pitched screeching noise then "click" back to red again - no display at all. It's a few years old now and it's sat like this for about 9 months so it conked only after a year and a bit. Just before it went wrong the picture was going a bit mental with hues of green all over the screen....then this. I have popped the back off and had a good old nose around and after reading around some forums I in all my wisdom (hehe) have come to the conclusion that it's the power supply module thats knackered. There lives on this board a cap which although not looking blown is very very bulbous on top. It's a samyoung TDA 100V 1000µF (M) 105°C. I am trying to find one of these but with no joy at all. The info I have is... TV Make: Vision PM-4230 Part: PDP Power Module SP-3000 SM TEC Part No: 03H19176 ??? - I think its that but it's hand written on the board. My biggest problem is that I live in a very very rural part of France. There is absolutely no chance of finding someone around here that is capable of repairing it and also it's a hefty old thing so it's not like I can post it off somewhere. Any suggestions? Tnx Brent.
