Thanks for being honest with your questions. However, Resolutions is not a necessity in choosing a best display. You almost made me think, that having 1024 x 1024 or 1366 x 768 is just as much engraved square cells in a display to justify which is better. IT IS NOT! Plasma displays all over performance is like a PC, it relies it's own CPU ( central processing unit ) or what we called PROCESSOR. All Plasma glass screens have the same pixel count, A processor built-in in EDTV or HDTV displays controls the output resolutions, brightness, contrast ratio, response rate, color saturation. The higher the better as majority agrees, but how well a display down-converting a signal is a must, and it depends on the CPU of the display.( After all, this is what you're paying for.) high-definition displays central processor has more tasks over the EDTV display. They tend to produce more heat during the process so their lifespan always at risk and most likely cause the display to fail. A good 850 x 480 display will beat any of the above resolutions of both signals by comparisons when common sense is use in optimizing your freedom, not by influence as others strongly agree "the higher the better" misconceptions. denonjapan made in japan
