Help with MAGNAVOX 42MF230A/37

Most functions work well, Power connection is perfect, Screen has no physical damages. Looks like a new TV before you turn on the TV. However there is no sound, and some display problems with the TV screen. Would this be a simple fix ($0 - $100) or is it not worth my time (over $200)? I have pics of the TV's display problem if needed.
