At 12-13 feet you could go 60'+ if you can afford the increase in price.
A 50" is going to look great at distance also, so it is up to you. I personally would go bigger unless money / cost was a concern.
In all the forums I read. Not many say " I should gotten a smaller screen size " .
But after a few months most wish they gotten the bigger screen size.
At 12-13' unless you can not afford it, I think you will wish you had gotten that larger screen size.
