Hyundai HPT_420, black line. Help	Can't Post

Hi all
I have just found your forum, and hope someone can help.
I have the above plasma TV. It now has a solid black line on the picture. This line runs from top to bottom of the screen. The line is solid and never moves. The screen when off shows no sign of damage. The line is about 20mm wide and is positioned just over the halfway point. The picture is otherwise fine in all other areas.

probably the front panel faulty which will cost more than the tv cost new to replace it.may be worth while checking the ribbon connectors round the edge of the screen for loose connection first. otherwise its history I'm afraid.
