LG Plasma 50pg20 broken Can't Post
I turned on my LG Plasma 50pg20 and the tv just made a click noise as though it was going to turn on. The power button was blue but there was no picture and sound. I turned it off and back on then got a quick flicker of a picture then smoke started coming out from the top back. After seeing the smoke I unplugged everything. What could be the fix for this. My TV was purchased in 2008. Best Buy warranty expired and LG has no recalls or known issue and warranty expired with LG as well.

Sounds like it's time for a new TV. HH Gregg has 60" Samsung for $999. That's probably much less than you paid 5 years ago and you'll end up with a much better TV. I also have a LG plasma that has stopped turning on only after 13 months. Yes, 1 month out of warranty. I will not buy another LG TV.
