LG Plasma with Vertical Pixel problems - help!

I have an LG 42" Plasma which recently developed a problem where a line of vertical pixels stopped diaplaying the picture correctly. Unfortunately recently this has now grown to two lines, about an inch apart, where the pixels are either dead or blown. It starts at the top of the screen and goes about halfway down. Has anyone seen anything like this, or know any reason why something like this could be happening? Unfortunately this TV is something I have a beta version of, and lacking any support or warantee. I have tried a factory reset of the firmware but it didn't help. Any advice is welcome, thanks!
