Looking for someone to take me under their wings to repair my first TV. Can't Post

Hi, I just received a free 37" Vizio and I'm looking to repair it myself. I have very little experience doing this but have researched enough to know that I could do it myself just need advice to what direction to go.

The TV is a Vizio VA370M. It turns on and off and gets the Vizio splash screen but I can't change the channel or inputs. Based on the research I've done so far I believe its an EEPROM. I have a volt meter and have poked around at the voltages that they are getting but I'm not fluent in what they should be.

I apologize in advance if this has been repeated but it's something I want to learn myself.
