Information on this 42 inch Plasma TV is virtually non-existent, so I am writing this to help anyone looking for feedback. I purchased this TV because of it's size and picture quality for the price. I also assumed that the Phillips quality would be present since they own Magnavox. It might be....but not on the set I bought. Cable hook up would only display a Black and White Picture and the same thing happened with DVD. I spent three hours playing with settings, wires, and configurations. Something was broke. That's when I discovered the best part. The set has a warranty but absolutly no information on what it is or who to call. No mention in the instruction/ owners manual and there was no seperate warranty card. The Magnavox website is being reconstructed so no cantact available there either. I suppose I could have went higher to Phillips but I shouldn't have to work so hard because it's brand new. I gave up and just returned it for a refund the next day. I hope you have better luck than I did if you purchase it. I'm taking my money elsewhere and buying a Zenith 44 inch LCD TV  instead.
