Can anyone tell me if my Pioneer PDP5040HD plasma display is compatible with a Pioneer PRO-RO5U reciever. My reciever was damaged and the model was a PDP-RO4U.

Yes but you have to have the PRO-RO5U remote control to power up the entire unit.
