I have the TV listed in the title. The TV was working great and then we had a storm and my direct tv box got hit i think and now the TV powers on and the screen gets light but i get no menu or sound when i connect my new direct TV box to the HDMI ports on my TV set. If someone could give me an idea as to what board i might need to replace or what they think could be wrong would be great. I want to order the board and replace the board in question.

See if component works.

If it does, then you probably have the HDMI processor blown on the main.

But don't use the direct TV as an HDMI source, use something else (DVD, Blueray).
