Panasonic TH-50PX60U.. good enough?	Can't Post

I have been looking online for a plasma tv or an lcd. But I end up searching for a plasma more often than an lcd.

I will be at a viewing distance of 8-11 feet. Will the Panasonic TH-50PX60U be good for this distance or should I go with 42" instead of 50". I will be watching mostly standard cable, some hd and even some gaming. Any clue how standard cable looks on this set. Also I know it has a built in tuner for local hd channels, will my cable box pick them up or do I need an antenna. thanks.

I would not watch a 50 inch plasma from 8 feet if I was you.The digital jitter and long persistance vision will soon annoy you.You need to ask your cable supplier if you want HD from the cable system and a digital antenna will get the tuner working as long as HD is transmitted in your area.

The Panasonic TH-50PX60U is a best seller, I would consider 42" or 37" take a look at pioneer plasmas to you can get good prices and I would consider extended warranty if plan on keeping it more than 2 years.
