Hello. I need advice on Plasma TV's asap. I've been told many times that they have a specific "lifetime", as in: they go bad after a certain number of hours of use, whatever that number is.

Can anyone explain me about this and let me know?

i have looked into this and manufactures are quoting
30000 hours which means it should last an average of 10 years.
