if BUDGET is really that important to you then I must say! "you're not ready!". Having one is not a Necessity. You don't need to be rich to get one, however this takes a lot of surprises when you can afford a screen and suddenly your old cables don't work for it anymore, that's another burden. Why don't you start with component monster cables, hd box, & progressive scan dvd player. "good forum is honest forum", don't get me wrong!
