SD programming not clear Can't Post

Hi,

I just bought a Sharp 52" 1080p Aquos LCD TV.

The picture quality of SD channels is really poor to the extent that some channels are not watchable. It is no where close to being as good as my 10 year old TV. Other brands at friends places seem fine for SD programming. Any suggestions please.

HD programming is fine.

Thanks,
Pratap

I know this is an old subject but for those individual who will have same thought doesn't resolute to comparisons. Flat panels are not meant for backward compatibility as opposed to your 10 year old television flexible. IT IS NOT!. My suggestions are: get used to it, keep your analog equipment and sources materials( vhs tapes, video cds ) or sell them and turn the page. You now have a digital television along with digital devices: blu ray players, burners, hdd players available. Oled displays are now introduced and is very expensive currently manufacturing bigger displays. stay focus, save and don't be late!
