Samsung 50" Plasma 550 has green bar in Screen Fit mode Can't Post
Hi, on my new Samsung 50" plasma 550, there is a green .5" bar on the right hand side of the screen in screen fit mode when using my Comcast cable box. Also, on the left side of the screen, it looks like one inch of pixels has been shifted upwards slightly. This only happens when using my Comcast box and only on screen fit mode. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

borrow someone else's box to see if its a signal problem.

I noticed this doesn't happen when I am watching my Blu-Ray player. And when I switched my Comcast box to another input, using a different HDMI cable, it still had the green bar. Do you think this could be a Comcast problem, and not a TV problem?

possible.I doubt it is the tv.

Can't see this being a TV problem to be honest. Compatibility issue possibly from this box thing?
UK Plasma & LCD New & Used Parts.

dont use screen fit use 16:9 ratio

My Samsung A550 had the same thing (it's called just scan instead of screen fit on this model). I got a green vertical line on the right and a slightly distorted vertical line about 1" from the right side. I changed to a better HDMI cable and it went away.
