Samsung PN60E550 won't restart after shutdown	Can't Post

I have the Samsung 60 inch connected to a Comcast X1 platform cable box via HDMI. I paired the cable box and TV to operate with the X1 remote. This has worked great for months but lately when I use the remote off button, there is a restart problem. I get audio but no picture. I have to wait for several minutes before the TV returns to full operation when the remote On is pressed.Some have said the problem is with the TV and others say it is the cable box.

Anyone have suggestions or advice?

Logic dictates that IF the problem lies in the cable box, that the problem will still persist when the cable box is connected to a DIFFERENT TV.
