Samsung TV making noises Can't Post

We recently started noticing our 42" Plasma TV making a popping noise. After the TV has been on for about 2 hours it will make the noise. I was told by someone that this is the way that the TV releases heat. Is this true or is their a problem with the TV?

I also have a Samsung Plasma. In the manual, it says that "a cracking noise may occur when the product contracts or expands due to change of surrounding environment such as temperature and humidity. This is normal and not a defect of the unit".

Common sense tells me that this expansion and contraction happens in many electronic equipment due to the reason mentioned above. So, don't worry about it.
