Shadows from the game score Can't Post

I bought a Samsung and it was delivered on Superbowl Sunday. The following day after watching the game I could see a faint shadow of the scoreboard line across the bottom of the screen. You could barely make out "PIT SEA" across the bottom. The next day the images were not there. Is this an indication of burn in or is this just a normal Plasma TV phenomenon?

some plasma tv's suffer from long persistence vision and it is usually caused by the sustain voltage , derived from the control pcb or power supply. have a look at one in the showroom. it may be normal for that model
