Shopping for Plasma: LG or Samsung?

Hi,
I currently have a 32" Samsung LCD from January 2008. I'm looking for a new TV, and have been considering a Plasma TV.
My current options have been narrowed down to either a Samsung or LG Plasma, in either 42" or 50". I'm only looking for 720P right now since the 1080P TVs are a little out of my range unless I can find a good deal in store. I am probably going to Conn's this week to see what they have in stock in store and will hopefully narrow it down to Samsung or LG.
I've done a lot of reading and I'm having trouble figuring out which one would be a better TV for me to purchase. I know it will end up being which one looks better to me, but I would like an opinion from others regarding a few different models.
The models I'm looking at are:
Samsung PN50C450
LG 50PJ350
I'm also considering the 42" variants but would prefer a 50".
Any opinions or suggestions you guys have would be great. Thanks.
