VIORE - PDP4210EA - STATIC IN BLACK AREAS, INPUTS HAVE TROUBLE Can't Post

A Viore PDP4210EA 42in Plasma has static in the black areas unless the brightness is turned to nearly 100. This is when the unit is hook up via the av (composite RCA jacks.)
Took the back off the unit and adjusted the vs counter clock wise and that took most of the static away, brightness is still required to be 80. Still using RCA jacks. If I take the vs too far ccwise, the white turns too pinkish red.
Now the component inputs do not work very well. There is audio and video when using both input 1 and 2, but the picture is much like a negative.
The old school coaxe hook ups after doing channel scan show nothing at all, no sound no picture.
There is not burn in of any type on the screen so I do not believe it is the display itself, could it be the whole input board which is bad? What should I do besides pitching it or calling a repair tech?
