WIERD Problem with my Phillips Plasma Tv

WIERD Problem with my Phillips Plasma Tv	Can't Post

For a little bit my Plasma Tv has been ghost trialing/distorting the image a little bit. But when i tap the right side the or the back right or middle of the tv the tv gets a little brighter and the ghost trail/imprinting wierd diplay goes away for a while. The tv is stil watchable but its starting to annoy me. It would do this once and a while now its doing it more often. Any idea's?

Now its doing this ;( it woulc work for a minute then go to this then work again etc etc i am thinking maybe a fault on the digital processor pcb or somehting. any one have idea's?

Its either a fault in the digital processor or the pdp panel. check the edge connectors first for bad joints by prodding around with a plastic insulated stick to see if the fault comes and goes. if its the front panel then dump the tv or take out a second mortgage to buy a new one

Which one is the digital processor the back one that connets to the whole a/v inputs ? its donest seem to a problem with the pdp i think its just the board.

the processor/scaler board is usually connected to the pdp with a couple of short flying leads but I dont have a circuit for that tv so I am only guessing.Usually fixed in the middle as you look from the back. might be worth checking the driver pcb's around the edge of the pdp for bad connections too.

The digital board is mounted under the SSB board as I recall.
