ASUS TLW42001D no power	Can't Post

Hi folks I need you all help with an ASUS TLW42001D Television. After plugging in the power cable and press power on the remove control the display will not power up. I change the battery in the remote also use my camera to test the remote which test ok, I also reseat all the cable on the power supply it makes no difference.
I don't have the repair service manual or schematic, so I am unable to check the voltages.
I will appreciate you all help.

ASUS devices are always suffering with battery problems.I thought you should completely change the battery.

Rom. M, thanks for your reply, however what`s your take on this fault I am having with this TV.
I am looking for the schematic for this TV for quite some time now with no success.

1st off , I need to tell you that I do not work on these types of TVs... Unsure

..
There are several VERY good techs here that may come along & help you much better than I can...
Hopefully soon...

I , too , could not locate a Service Manual for this TV...
Lots of User Manuals & Driver updates , but NO Service Manuals...

But , from what little I do know , it sounds like a power supply problem...
From what I learned here , look by the connectors on the power supply panel for printing or labels with the voltages printed on them...
Use the ground pins ("-") on those connectors for your readings..
Also look at the lytic caps on the PS panel for bulging at the tops or swelling at the tops &/or sides of the caps...
