a cracked plasma in use	Can't Post

anyone ever seen what a cracked plasma tv looks like while in use? mines is currently cracked and does not not turn on. i hear replacing the cracked screen is too expensive. so I' thinking about trying to just get it to work but leave the cracks...maybe it won't look too bad. i don't know. you think it's worth it?
and what are the costs for that kinda of repair?
everytime i power it on i can't see anything and you hear this buzzing sound

As a general rule crack plasma screens will not turn on they are a sealed unit with gasses in them, once cracked it's over. and to replace just the display usaly cost as much if not more than replacing the set, with no model or make of set I'll just go with what is the most common display outthere, a 42' Samsung type display that starts at 850.00 at the lowest
