I have had a 4209 monitor since July, 2000 and it has worked perfectly. Never a problem. However, today a problem has occurred. During its power on sequence, it powered up the fans, lit the green power light, and then powered down with the power lamp flashing at a steady 1 second pulsation. Only disconnecting power stops this sequence. The owner's manual suggest Either "other problems" or Improper supply voltage level. Well, the supply voltage to the unit is the 119 Volts AC, 60 Hz. I reverified it as well as good earth ground. Any clues? I suspect its the power supply.
