green spots (lines) on tv Can't Post

Hey all,

I just got a plasma tv and when watching TV I notice that there are
all these green scrolling spots over all the black areas on the tv
(ie: a character on the show is wearing a black tshirt or when a
program switches to a commercial and the screen is completely black).
It scrolls vertically from the botton to the top of the screen and
then it starts all over again. Has anyone experienced this or could
you tell me what is going on and if I can fix it?

Thanks!

I suspect a fault on the control pcb which supplies various voltages to the plasma panel.many manufacturers put a label on the pdp with voltage settings for that panel. one of these may be set wrong which can cause green spots on dark backgrounds

look for a stick on label on the back of the plasma panel giving voltages and reference points.and possibly the number of the adjustment preset. if there is not a label you will need the service manual .i dont know this tv ,its not a UK model but the basics are the same worldwide
