i have a hitachi 42"edt41 plasma tv. i have comcast cable with an hdtv receiver. comcast installer used component cables for hd hookup. later i got a dvi-d cable to try out. as soon as i installed this cable and compared the two inputs i noticed the hd channels were not "locked in" to FULL mode any longer. (they automatically default to full mode for hd signals)
i figured this unwelcome change would go away after removing dvi-d cable, but alas it didn't. does anyone know what i'm talking about?
