Hello everyone. I am serving in the USAF, currently stationed at Misawa Air Base, Japan. I have lots of computer repair experience and I enjoying bringing life back to retired electronics. This is my first time dealing with a plasma, as I normally go the LCD route. I just picked up this LG RU-42PX10C from a friend of mine when the picture went out. He is under the impression that it would be cheaper to buy a new one at the BX than to fix it, so he gave it to me. I have been unable to find a repair/service guide or any schematics on it. I have, luckily, been able to find the LG factory direct parts site for replacement boards, I just need to figure out which one to replace. I am providing a link to what the picture on the monitor looks like, and it is producing audio. Any ideas on where to start? Thank you in advance for your time and consideration in this matter.
