panasonic TXP46G15 No power	Can't Post

Hi Guys,
I have a panasonic TXP46G15 with no power.
Seems to be no shorts from all boards so points to power supply. Can anyone help on this please?

"When an abnormality has occurred the unit, the protection circuit operates and reset to the stand by mode. At this time, the defective block can be identified by the number of blinks of the Power LED on the front panel of the unit."

Pin 65 of the CPU IC9003 monitors the status of the SC board. During normal operation, a low is applied to pin 65. If the SC board becomes defective, a high is provided to pin 65. As a result, the unit shuts down and the power LED blinks 6 times.

That's what the literature (and my interpretation of it) seem to be saying (FETs most likely).

Thanks again jts, I will test them to see if there are shorts and try to order some. Having said that , I continuety tested the power connection on the SC board and there was no short at that point. <br> <br>Regards, <br>Jules. <br>

NO resistance reading at all between connector SC2 pins? How about any DC voltage?

Careful you do NOT try to run more than 30 seconds with ANY connector unplugged.

Adjust driver section voltages referring the panel data on the panel data label.
Check or adjust the following voltages with the multimeter.
*See the Panel label.

What voltage is being measured currently at Vsus (Vs)? (You CANNOT adjust what isn't there.)

Panel Data Label should look something like this:

Final adjustment will be made with the TV working, with a specific signal applied and with certain controls set on certain settings.
Name: Vsus (aka Vs) (Voltage Sustain)
Test Point: TPVSUS (SS) (Test Point where to measure VSustain. Reference to panel/ground)(SS is the board where it is located)
Voltage: Vsus plus or minus 2 volts (from what is written on label)(Voltage expected and tolerance allowed)
Volume: VR251 (P) (Adjustment for Vsus)(Variable Resistor used to make adjustment. P is the board where the VR is located.)
