plasma for computer monitor? Can't Post

Hey guys,
I'm in the market to buy a 42" plasma. A guy at bestbuy said plasma's aren't recommended for hooking a computer to it and video games. He said plasma's are only good for watching TV and DVD. I just wanted to use it to browse on the internet when sitting on couch. Anyone use their plasma as TV and computer monitor?

EDTV PROGRESSIVE PLASMA with 853 x 480 display resolution does not display any computer graphics as good as LCD tv. I Currently own a PANASONIC PW-37D6UY and tried all possible but to me it is not recomended. Should you consider a full HDTV capable with ranging resolution of 1024 x 1024 OR higher and should work well with your application.

The guy from bestbuy you mentioned has misconceptions to what he said. Plasma tv. is intended for computer and video games, TV's or watching movie definitely. You will never experience an early lights out from analog tv again when playing video games to a Plasma tv. Working non-stop when playing videos is quite ideal for a PLASMA tv.

Suggestion?.. consider INDUSTRIAL PANASONIC display! they're always the best!> BEST buy doesn't carry industrial plasma though!.

You can use High Definition plasma displays for video games and the new media center You require dvi inputs to the plasma display.

A company that has a massive range of plasma displays is Lyns Ltd based in Taiwan. LYNS MODEL LYNS 4240T1 HIGH DEFINITION 42" TELEVISION - has a resolution of 852x480 higher brightness 1000 cd/m2 and contrast 3000:1. more info at http://www.lynsltd.com/plasma_42_ins.html

Trust this helps. Plasma is fantastic for games as long as it is high definition, Flyrod
