Bulb Life HITACHI 50VS69 Can't Post

Hello,
I'm new here so sorry if this is posted in the wrong place, or the question has already been asked. I tried searching but couldn't find an answer for this ...

I'm thinking of buying the TV in the subject, however I was wondering how often does the bulb need to be replaced? How long does it last before a replacement is neccesary. I downloaded the User's manual from Hitachi.com but all it said was "bulb life may vary depending on usage" .... who would have thought! Tongue

If anyone could help me out, that would be great ...

PS does anyone have thsi TV? feedback would be great too!

thanks

3000-4000 hours. If you get the tv make shure you turn the set off at the unit. Do not kill the tv from a switched stereo ac outlet, switched ac outlet on a cable box or wall switch or power strip. If you kill power to the tv the set can't cool the lamp with the fan that's in the unit, this will GREATLY reduce you lamp like if not destroy your lamp. If you have frequent power outages I would suggest a LCD flat panel tv. Good luck!
