Hitachi Projection TV CU5000K 1989 model	Can't Post

I have an older hitachi rear projection TV (1989 CU5000K) that will not turn on. The relay switch was clicking and would not engage and I found a burned out resistor and a couple of caps nearby had been leaking. I was wondering if I just replace the entire SUB POWER PCB board if this would solve my problem? The relay and power converter is all located on this board.

This may but you need to check the secondary supplys for shorts. Also unless you have another tv for parts you wont be able to get this board.

The board is obtainable through a private dealer... not cheap though.
