Hitatchi 43UWX10B picture and sound problem	Can't Post

I have a Hitachi 43UWX10B that just dtarted displaying Hor./Vert. lines and has no sound. Before I call a repairman i'd like to be a little prepared. What is the probable cause of these symptoms?

Set built in 2001 so age not a huge problem but with two area affected, ( audio and video ) might be looking at the main microprocesser or its supply voltages. without a more detail expanation or mae a few pix this ones up in the air as what might be wrong
