KP-43T70 green shadows when using RCA inputs

I recently noticed some green shadow lines across the picture especially with bright white backgrounds. This only happens when the SAT, DVD or VCR signal is fed into the KP-43T70's RCA or composite inputs. It doesn't happen with COAX feed. In one instance, the entire image started flickering repeatedly with green flashes to the point I heard like a relay 'click' sound. Is it possible that the green tube is bad or just an issue with the video cables I'm using?
