Magnavox 42" Sound but no picture.	Can't Post

I have a Magnavox (Model #RK8548-AK03)that was blowing the 4 amp fuse on power supply, but found a shorted diode in bridge. Replaced the diode and TV powers up with sound, but the CRT's have no glow. Almost 200V at collector of HOT, but nothing coming out of flyback transformer. With meter only seeing 50V on Transformer. Would appreciate any help.

Frustrated in Kentucky.

When you say "no glow" do you mean the filaments are not lit? If so this shound be quite simplt to repair you should see around 6vac on the filaments, if not there theres probably a 2 or 3 ohm resistor open off the FBT.

Your power supply should be sending 130v dc to the flyback. If it is 200v then the regulator is not reulating.
