Magnavox 52" PTV IS RED

This Magnavox 52" PTV has a perfect picture but is only red. Once in a while I will get great color for a few minutes then it disappears and turns red again. Everything else works fine. No local repair shops are willing to take it. Any ideas as to what I could try? I have reset all the registers to factory settings, but that didn't change anything.
