Mitsubishi 45" Rear projection has no sound or picture	Can't Post

I have a 45" Mit rear projection model #VS 459RS. It has no sound or picture. Both went out with a click sound. Does any one know what went and how to fix it?

These Mitubishi sets you describe are famous for power supply failuers. It is a long involve process to fix this . youre board has two STR's Ic's that deliver several voltage to the set, many of thes failurs are cause because capacitor simpley wear out

As of the age of your set do you want to attrmpt this repair?

Yes I do want to repair it. The set is in fabulous condition, not a scratch on it. My other set is close to 30 years old and still ticking. The new sets I've seen in the store in my price range (which is much less then one the size of this one) don't have the sound quality of this old Mit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
