Mitsubishi Model No. VS-5046	Can't Post

I have a Mitsubishi 48" Model Number VS-5046 that has sound but no picture. It is actually a friends TV that I want to help him fix. I read on the forums that it could be the PIP board. What questions should I ask him to determine if that is the problem? The TV is at his house. Are there common dry solder joints on this model? Thank you in Advance for your help.

My friend said that there is no image. He cannot see the volume or channel markers. Does this help diagnose the problem?

I have a 1999 VS-50803, and i was having the exact plroblem. One of my tubes had a coolant leak, and it had leaked onto my convergency board and eventually blew some circuts. so you might want to look and see if you have a leak. might not be the problem, but might possibly be the cause.
